Finding pictures on the web and saving them

Since the Google introduced Google Images search, it became quite easy finding a picture you want.

1.

Click here to open Google Images Search.

You can go to http://www.google.com and click on Images as well.

2.

Type a word, phrase or combination of words that describe the thing you're looking for.

I want a picture of an angry cat, that's why I entered "angry cat".

3.

Images described as what ever you typed in the search box appear. If you want to choose only among big resolution images, the click Large on the left side of your browser window.

You can also put the exact size of the picture you want, by clicking Exactly and entering the desired Width and Hight.

You can also shrink the selection even more by choosing the colors you want on that image or what kind of a type it is (face, clip art, drawing, ...). Just check all the option on the left side.

4.

Keep scrolling down till you find the picture you like.

The click the picture.

Here you click the thumbnail of the picture, not the actual image.

5.

An actual image you requested shows up, now right click it and click Save Image As...

It's very similar in all major browsers.

6.

Name the file or leave it like it is, then click on Save.

That's it, nothing to it :)
