How to enable or disable screen orientation in iOS 7

Your iPhone or iPad screen all of a sudden won't automatically change orientation from portrait to landscape mode when looking at your photos or watching a video when you turned it over? No biggie.

Swipe from the bottom of the screen on your iOS 7 device to bring up the shortcuts menu (see picture).

Now simply tap the Portrait Orientation Lock icon to enable or disable the auto display orientation function.
