Activate Mac OS 1 on Apple iOS 7 devices

This well kept secret surfaced just recently. All Apple devices running iOS 7 have a pretty darn well hidden Easter egg. Just follow this step-by-step instructions carefully and the very first Mac OS version 1 will appear on your iPhone or iPad. How freaking awesome is that?

1.

For this to work you will need an Apple device running at least iOS 7.

iPhone 5S in my case.

2.

Turn your iPhone or iPad upside down (see picture) and leave it this exact position for at least 10 seconds.

Auto screen rotation must be DISABLED for this to work. If you don't how to turn it off, drop me a comment bellow.

3.

Put your iOS device in silent mode by switching the silent mode button (see picture).

Follow this instructions by the exact order if you want it to work. If you have an iPad you can skip this step.

4.

Now swipe down the notifications but not the whole way donw, stop at the top of the bottom icons (see picture).

Hold this position for 14 seconds then let it go.

It's a trick by Apple developers, the first Mac OS was introduced in the 14th working week.

If you followed the instructions precisely, Mac OS or to be more precise, it was called System Software 1 back then. should show up on your iPhone or iPad screen. How darn awesome is this?!

6.

As System Software 1 sure wasn't touch enabled, developers did add some touch capabilities, it will not work as well as you are used to when in iOS mode.

You will be able to see the menu and file structure, but you won't be able to open or run the apps.

Mind you, the original MacOS (System Software 1) was released in 1984, so don't expect colors.

Yep, it's pretty real, it worked the second time I tried it on my iPhone 5. It's pretty mind-blowing, you can't do anything worthwhile with it, but is looks so damn surreal and amazing.

Today is a certain day and Nikman's got some serious Photoshop skills, so I dunno... I'm still going to give it a go, I'm not taking any chances.

I have to go back to my house first so I can test it out on my iPad.
