Distorted Effect Photoshop Tutorial

Pretty easy and short Photoshop tutorial where we will create a new document and after that create an artistic and distorted effect.

Create a random sized document.

I have created a document with 1024 x 768 dimensions.

Click above on Edit and select Fill...

In a new window set Use to Black and click OK.

Press D key to set the black and white colors (see my pic).

After that click above on Filter, Render and select Lens Flare...

In a new window set the same settings like I did ...

And in a Flare Center set the Lens Flare on top right position (see my pic) and click OK.

Repeat the last step but change the positions (see my pic).

Click above on Filter, Sketch and select Chrome...

Set the same values like I did and click OK.

Click above on FilterStylize and select Glowing Edges...

Set the same values like I did and click OK.

Click above on FilterStylize and select Find Edges...

Then press Ctrl (Command on MacOS) and U together to open Hue /Saturation window.

Then select Colorize and play with settings and when satisfied clickOK.

Set the layer's blending to Multiply.

Click above on Edit, Transform and select Flip Horizontal.

Click above on Edit, Transform and select Flip Vertical

We are finished.
