Proccessing of vertical video clips in Premiere

This guide serves as an additional knowledge for Adobe Premiere. I will show you processing of vertical video clip which will be nicely visible also in horizontal view.

Import any vertical video clip to your project.

How to do that see:



Video project should be in 4:3 or 16:9 or anything in vertical view.

Drag it to timeline.

Select the video.

View on my vertical video clip.

Under Effect Controls click Motion...

...and increase Scale...

 
 
6.
 

...to get video clip to the edge of the project.

 
 
7.
 

Now open Effects tab and under Video Effects, Blur&Sharpen select Gaussian Blur...

...and drag it to Timeline in your video clip.

This is the way you can add video effects to video clips.

Now under Effects Controls open Gaussian Blur and set Blurriness to 30.

 
 
10.
 

View on my video clip.

Select again your imported video...

 
 
12.
 

...and drag it to Timeline at Video 2.


 
 
13.
 

Play the video to see your video effect.

 
 
14.
 

View on the video with no effect.

This option is appropriate if you want to show more videos combined together.
