How to add comments in Google Docs

Comments let you have a conversation about something you're working on. Check it out how to add them in Google Documents.

Open Google Docs.

Click CREATE and select Document.

You can also open existing document.

Select any text where you want to put comment.

Click Insert and select Comment.

New comment box opens on the right side.

Enter a comment and click Comment.

Now, if anyone else opens this document, he will see the comment.

We can also reply on the comment. Click on the comment, write something and press Reply.

When the problem is solved just click Resolve and the comment box will disappear.

If you want to see previous comments, just click Comments button in a top right corner.
