Stretch and crop the video in Adobe Premiere

In this lesson I will show you how to stretch the video to full screen. We will also look how to crop the video.

Open new Project.

Click File and select Import...

Now select any video and click Open.

Select imported video and drag it to Timeline at Video 1.

Video is imported but it is smaller than the frame of the project.

 
 
6.
 

We will fix the video to fit the frame of the project.

Select the video.

 
 
7.
 

Click Effect controls above and select Motion.

 
 
8.
 

Increase the scale to make the picture fit the frame of the project.

Now let's see how to crop the video.

Click File, Export and select Media... In new Window click Crop the output video.

With the mouse select part of the video you want to keep.

 
 
11.
 

Click Output and select Scale To Fit.

 
 
12.
 

Click Export and save the document (Ctrl + S).
