A morphing table that replicates your every move

The future is already here, at least in the MIT Media Lab it is. This 3D morphing table is nothing short of amazing.

This solid table that can reproduce everything you put under its sensors was created at the MIT Media Lab by Pofessor Hiroshi Ishii and his student. A so called tangible interface captures moving objects in 3D with the help of cameras, then it sends the collected data to a computer, where it get processed to move the rods in the middle of the tablet into shapes, that are a replica of the objects moving in front of the cameras.
