Basic Usage of AutoSum Function in Excel

Use the SUM function to sum numbers in a range. It is the most basic and simple formula that every computer user should know.

Open Microsoft Office Excel.

Enter Data.

Enter any values in columns.

Click on the box below the column Product A...

...and than click on the icon AutoSum and choose Sum.

The program will automatically select all the values in the column ​​(you can also select values manually).

Confirm with ENTER button.

Excel calculated the sum of all values for product A.

Repeat the procedure for product B and C.

Now we will calculate the sum of all three products together.

Choose any cell and click AutoSum icon and choose Sum.
