I'll show you how easy it is to add an image to the Google web Presentation and apply different effects to it.

  Author: bole | Version: | 4th October 2013 |

1.

In Google Docs create new presentation.

2.

This will open a new window with a template with inscriptions.

Delete the inscriptions first.

Select (with the mouse) the inscriptions and press the Del key to delete them.

Start label on a blank part of the presentation, and drag the mouse across the two inscriptions.

3.

Now we have a blank presentation.

Now click on Insert and select Image...

4.

Google documents provides two options, one is a picture from your computer, while the other option is to select image as a web link.

We'll add a picture from the computer. Click on the Choose an image to upload button ...

5.

In Windows Explorer locate and select the image you want to add to the presentation and click on the Open button.

6.

The image is added to the presentation.

Now you can also move the picture with the mouse and resize it.

Hold the edge of the image if you want to change your image proportionally.

7.

Select image. We will settle it on the document.

Click Arrange...

8.

Under Center on page first choose Horizontally and than Vertically.

These two commands aligned picture in the middle of the presentation.

9.

Now we'll add interesting effect for displaying image.

Right-click on the image and select animate.

10.

On the right side you can choose between different effects (if you click on selected effect it opens dropdown menu).

I chose "Fade in" effect.

11.

Choose View and than Present.

Shortcut is also Ctrl + F5.

12.

Your presentation is now opened in a new window.
