Enable or disable Background Motion Effect in iOS7

The new iOS 7 comes with an interesting moving background motion or a so called Parallax Effect when you physically move your device about. Let me show you how to turn it off to improve battery life.

1.

Go to apps screen and tap Settings.

2.

Tap General.

3.

Tap Accessibility.

4.

Tap Reduce Motion.

5.

And now simple turn the Reduce Motion On or Off.

6.

When Reduce Motion on your iPad or iPhone is On it means your background is adjusting to the movements of the device.

7.

With Reduce Motion turned On, try and move your iOS 7 device in various directions.

It looks pretty cool, but it can result in a bit higher consuption of your battery life.
