Abstract strings effect background using Photoshop

Photoshop filters enable you to create countless more or less abstract creations, let me show you how to create this one from scratch.

Create a new Photoshop document with the size 1024 x 768.

You can define your own size as well if you wish to.

Choose the Brush Tool.

Press D to set the Black/White color.

Right-click the document, set the brush size to about 17 px and Hardness to 100%.

Press Enter to confirm the settings.

Now draw a pattern similar to mine.

In the menu click Filter, Blur and choose Radial Blur...

Choose the same settings as I did and click OK.

In the menu click Filter, Sketch and choose Chrome...

Choose the same settings as I did and click OK.

This is how it should look like by now.

In the menu click Image, Adjustments and choose Hue/Saturation...

Play with the sliders until you get the effect you like and then click OK.

This is how my abstract background turned out.
