How to add and customize widgets on Nexus 4

Nexus 4 smartphone comes with a bunch of Android widgets you can add to one of the screens.  Let me show you how to add a widget to a screen and how to customize it.

Tap the Apps button.

Tap Widgets next to Apps.

Here are now all the available widget you can add to one of the Nexus 4 screens.

Simply tap to choose one.

I'm adding a Digital clock widget to my Nexus 4.

Now tap and hold the widget and move it left or right to add it to one of your screens and then simply let go of it.

To customize a widget, tap and hold it briefly until the widget edit mode is activated. Now depending on the widget you can resize it by dragging the sides.

Tap the widget when done resizing.
