  Persons : 1 | Preparing: 20 min | Making: 0 min | Cleaning: 6 min

1.

Grind about 500 grams of biscuits.

You can use regular or vanilla biscuits.

2.

Put the ground biscuits into a bowl.

Add 150g of ground walnuts.

This the twist I was talking about. You don't have to add the walnuts if you don't like them.

3.

Add 250g of butter. If you took it directly out of the fridge, you should leave it a while until it softens. We need it to be soft as we are going to knead the ingredients into a mixture.

4.

Add 1dl (0,5 cup) of rum.

5.

Add 300g of powdered sugar.

6.

And add 100g of powdered chocolate.

7.

Wash your hands and start kneading until the mixture becomes smooth and chocolate brown colored.

8.

While kneading add a bit of milk. Only enough to make the kneading process a bit easier.

9.

That's it for the mixture.

10.

If you have the paper cups, now is the good time to bring them out.

Don't worry if you don't have paper cups, you simply put the balls onto the plate or a tray.

11.

Pour some shredded coconuts onto a plate.

12.

Take a chunk of the mixture in your hand and roll it into a ball.

If you like big balls take a bigger chunk if you like them small take a smaller chunk.

13.

And roll it in the coconut shreds.

14.

Put the balls into the paper cups or onto a plate.

15.

Continue doing so until there is no more mixture left.

Enjoy your very own chocolate rum balls with a twist.
